A Big Committment

Yesterday, Jade signed with the Air Force for the next 6 years. I have mixed feelings about it. He can definately get an excellent education from it if he takes advantage of it, and make a career of it if he chooses. The part that scares me the most is the danger involved. Jade is like his dad & brother and has to live on the edge. He wants to be fully involved with military. His first choice that he is going to try for is Pararescue. Pretty rigorous, but something he really has an interest in. If you want to know what that is...google it! Should he not pass that, he wants to do the Tactical Aircraft Maintenance or Aircraft Armament Systems. Google those too, but if you just want to take my word for it, all will put him in harms way. Sigh. We are ready to fully support him in this decision, and I have to admit that I was mighty proud of him when he was sworn in. Love ya Jade Ry!
